Building up my skinny flabby body

I used to do bodybuilding in college. I never felt so strong in my life. But I also didn't feel beautiful. My muscles were big and Mama thought I looked like a man and she made it clear she disapproved of it. So I stopped the weights and have been pretty much a slug since then.

Now, my last post on health and fitness caused quite a discussion not just from my readers but from family and friends as well. Like Mama, the ladies were against any muscle-building activities. The men were more encouraging, giving advice on what sports I should take up (wall climbing and swimming) and what muscle enhancers to take (Muscle Advance Protein Builder and Omnevol .

And then as they enthusiastically told me about it, a girl who was listening in said, "So those muscle pills really work?" And the guys said, "Sure! But don't take any of those because we wouldn't want you to look like a man."

Great. I've always been one of the boys and this just proves it!

4 just had to say:

It's usually hard for a woman to build big muscles without doing something extraordinary. You can certain build normal muscle tone and maintain a feminine look by doing basic weights. Women are much more likely to tone and strengthen than add mass.

Hey WendyB, I do believe I have more testosterone in me than a regular woman because if I work out a little, my body immediately responds! I lose fat and build muscle quickly... and not in a lean, slim attractive way!

DaisyChain, you have got to be one of the most feminine women I know!

Fauzan, yeah, I'd love to do some running but I live in a very polluted city. Alas!
