Second entry to my OK! contest!

Aha, here's the second entry to my OK! contest, which will grant the winner a much coveted pot of La Prairie Platinum Cream--the most expensive moisturizer in the world! This entry is from Cielo.

Cielo says about the December issue, "I always buy OK! and I salute you for a really really good magazine. On this issue, I really like your story on Angelina Jolie. Aside from I like her from being an actress, I admire her in helping U.N. as a goodwill ambassador! Your story showed how she really loves her family, especially her kids."

Thanks, Cielo! Like you, I admire celebrities who use their celebrity to focus global attention on much needed issues and causes. But don't think Angelina's so special--she's not the only celebrity U.N. has on its roster! There are soooo many of them actually. So I'm going to dedicate this post to the other celebrities who have dedicated their lives to helping others through the U.N. But to make my list more interesting, I'm going to list...

MY FAVORITE U.N. GOODWILL AMBASSADORS... EVER!

1. Nicole Kidman - women's rights and protection from abuse and exploitation
2. Queen Rania - improved quality of life of children, especially girls, when it comes to education, health care and protection from abuse and exploitation
3. Shakira - child advocacy and protection, education and HIV/AIDS awareness
4. David Beckham - education and recreational programs for kids, and protection of children's rights
5. Gisele Bundchen - environment

As you can see from my list, I value the welfare of women and children and the protection of their rights. I'm also a huge fan of Nicole Kidman and Queen Rania, the women I believe are the most beautiful in the world!

While I think Angelina's emphasis on refugees is commendable--and I'm not saying it's less important!--I would rather support the empowerment of women and kids. As a survivor of abuse in my younger days, I feel very strongly about women's rights. I think anyone who has raised his hand against a woman and a child, who has verbally, psychologically, emotionally and financially abused women and children should be castrated and thrown to flesh-eating pigs.

The sad thing is I know men who are exactly like this. They are roaming free because our culture accepts that men can beat up their girlfriend/wife and kids. These assholes even think that by abusing women and kids, they're being a man. Well, I think that a man who hits a woman and child is less of a man because the cowardly bully can only hit those who are weaker than him.

If you are in an abusive relationship, you have to believe you don't deserve whatever shit you're going through. And you have to get out now. You may love him but, honey, he doesn't love you.
