This post is brought to you by PLDT Home.
Okay, so I know the title of this post sounds so press release-y but I was able to experience the product and I was impressed with the fact that I can really manage my home better with the new PLDT HOME Telpad!

PLDT HOME has been offering Telpads for a few years now (landline + broadband + tablet) but the Telpad HC7 is by far its most advanced model. I checked it out myself and it really felt like, if I used this for my home, I would be living in the future. Why? Here's why:
- My home devices can be connected to the PLDT HOME Telpad through WiFi and Infrared, and I can control them all with it! Aircon, TV, you name it! I checked if kaya ng Telpad mag-connect to all brands and appliances and, yes, it can! As long as it can be controlled by a remote control, it can be connected to the Telpad.
- I can finally have a FAM CAM in my house. It's a home monitoring system that can also be connected to the Telpad. I don't have one since my husband and I work from home, but we do have one kasambahay, and we trust her but having seen the FAM CAM, I think it would still be a good tool to have in our home. The Telpad can control the FAM CAM and I can watch over my family from any room in the house using the FAM CAM app on the Telpad.
- I can also put my home appliances on a timer so, for example, the TV will automatically turn off at a certain time, say dinner time or bath time. Wala nang magagawa my kids! Or I can have the A/C turn off automatically at around 3 a.m. so I don't have to get up.
- Best of all, I don't have to worry about managing so many remote controls! I super HATE that! Lalo na pag one is misplaced and you spend HOURS looking for it! With the PLDT HOME Telpad, hindi na problem yan. One Telpad to rule them all!
There's a lot of other things the PLDT HOME Telpad can do (like you can blast music from your phone to the high-fidelity speakers just by connecting to the dock via Bluetooth; but I'm not a music person really so maybe my husband will find this a bigger deal than I do). What I really like about it is the fact that I can control everything from afar. As a mom na sobrang daming iniisip at ginagawa, I love that. I'm waiting for the day when PLDT HOME will launch a Telpad na voice controlled!!! The Telpad is truly another innovation to bring your family closer, because the strongest connections are at home.
The PLDT HOME Telpad is available on HOME DSL Plans 990 and up. Just add as low as P500 to your HOME DSL Plan to upgrade to a Telpad Plan, and just add P145 for 12 months to avail of the all-new Telpad HC7. Apply at any PLDT Sales and Service Center or visit pldthome.com for more information.
