My kikay Easter with Girlstuff's summer collection of nail polish

This post is brought to you by GirlStuff Forever.

First, the good news: I have a nail polish color named after my blog!

Girlstuff, a proudly Pinoy beauty and personal care brand, released its summer collection called "Bloggers' Elite Summer," and they named the four creamy pastels AskMeWhats (purple-pink), Go Jackie Go (lime green), Strutting on Sunshine (vivid blue), and—my favorite!—Topaz Horizon (chartreuse yellow) after the blogs of the same name.

This is so exciting! I have a nail polish color named Topaz Horizon!!!

Anyway, I'll talk about my fabulous yellow polish and the fabulous launch party soon. Today, let's celebrate Easter with the very Happy Easter colors of Girlstuff's summer collection! Yes, let's use AskMeWhats, Go Jackie Go, Strutting on Sunshine, and Topaz Horizon to paint our Easter eggs!

Okay, I edited the photos in the middle of the night so medyo grabe pala yung saturation! Sorry. The colors of our polishes are not that neon! Anyway, let's meet my Easter egg!
I used Topaz Horizon as the base.
Two coats for a bright and happy yellow!
I used a bottle cap to help me dry my egg.
Tracing my pattern using the other colors!
Et voila!

Now here are the colors on real nails:

This flattering purple-pink hue s named after the blog, AskMeWhats, one of the first, best and biggest beauty blogs not just in the country but in the Asian region! The author of this blog is my friend Nikki Tiu. She is one of the first bloggers I became friends with. I still remember that she had amazing nail art the first time we met! Nikki is an HR professional, a makeup artist, a beauty consultant and a nail art enthusiast who absolutely adores the color pink. She says of her polish color, "Girl Stuff’s bohemian pink is not the usual pink shade that you see in other polish brands.  AskMeWhats is an extraordinary, very feminine shade. Kind of like an orchid because of its lilac undertone. What’s more, it reminds me of my Mom whose favorite color is lilac. This perfect blend of pink and lilac reflects a very young, cheerful vibe just like my personality."

Anyone who's visited mommy blogger Jackie Go's blog knows it's color green. Green green green. So of course Jackie's nail polish hue will be green! “Girlstuff totally nailed it with this shade," Jackie says. "It has captured the calming hue of nature. And this type of shade works well with any skin tone. So it’s a perfect shade to frolic in this summer.”

Fashion entrepreneur and event organizer Christina Decena likes to show off her spunky style on her blog ’s Strutting on Sunshine but when I met her, she's calm and quiet. Very much like her nail polish shade, which is a striking sky blue but which also brings to mind calm seas. Christina says, “What struck me the most with this blue shade is its brilliance! I see sunny skies and cerulean seas. This shade speaks to me. It’s like a dreamy cruise in a bottle! It’s the perfect shade for me because it encapsulates my wanderlust for the world!”

Last, my very own Topaz Horizon color! Of course it has to be yellow because my birthstone is yellow topaz, but Girlstuff made my yellow polish more fun by adding just a hint of lime in it so it's chartreuse. This yellow shade is so bright and happy, you just won’t be able to ignore it!  It’s bold and fun which makes it perfect for me—bold, fun, fascinating and a little weird!

As with all Girlstuff nail polishes, the Bloggers’ Elite Summer Collection uses their well-loved sophisticate gel-type formula so that all four colors are shiny and long-lasting polish. Girlstuff is also free of harmful chemicals so you can be super kikay and be super safe, too. Love it!

You can buy Girlstuff at their kiosks in SM Mall of Asia (2nd floor, near Cinema Ticketron), SM Megamall (4th floor bridgeway, in front of Saisaki), SM North EDSA (ground floor, near Bayo), SM San Lazaro (2nd floor) and Ayala Cebu (2nd floor). You can also order from Girlstuff's website. Like their Facebook page and follow them on Instagram (@girlstufforever). Buy my polish pleeeeease! It's only P120 a bottle. Mwah!
