Unboxing and Review: Eve & Adam bags

I have had these bags for a good while now, but it's only now that I'll share my Eve & Adam bags review. But first, let's do an unboxing! Because that itself was an experience worth sharing. 


I bought my bags from their Instagram platform. I've been eyeing them forever, but I couldn't choose. I liked a LOT! So I asked my followers to choose for me. And here's what they picked: the green Sophia's doctor's bag and the red Eve wooden satchel.



Although TBH, I wanted them all! I rarely buy new bags, but I've been wanting to support Filipino brands na talaga. And maganda talaga ang Eve & Adam... sa photos. So I wanted to check if maganda rin sila in real life. And hindi mahal at all. So I figured I could buy two. 

My bags came in individually wrapped boxes. So it was exciting to get such big boxes! Then when you open them, thoughtful cards of appreciation and information greet you.


And now let's meet the bags! Let's check out Sophia, the bag that reeled me in. I love it! Hindi siya animal leather, so kailangan mas maingat ka sa paggamit. Hindi siya pwede ibalibag. 


Sophia comes with 2 straps. I like the nylon one better because my shoulder prefers wider straps. Although I usually hand-carry this naman so I rarely use the straps. Magaan siya, very roomy inside. Maraming kasya kahit na mukhang maliit. 


Now let's check out Eve! This is such a unique bag and the bag that I think is their signature offering. I don't know if it's their most popular one. I just know that it's their singular one, the one na isang tingin mo pa lang alam mong Even & Adam bag yan. So of course I had to get one!


It is absolutely gorgeous! It's made of vegan leather and wood. The handle and the sides of the bag are made of wood. I dunno what kind of wood but they feel solid, but not mabigat. 


Inside, there's a pocket. That's it! It's a bag na pang-arte lang kasi hindi kasya ang bahay mo rito obviously. Those wooden sides don't allow it to be roomy. So wallet, phone, and konting kikay stuff lang talaga ang kasya. 

So I don't get to use Eve so much, as I am a very busy working mom who goes about life with a big bag of everything. But I still love this bag if only because it's beautiful. As Emerson wrote, "Beauty is its own excuse for being." And that applies to Eve.

    Oh it's wonderful that you found Eve and Adam! Their bags are delicious to the eyes. I was gifted one about 5 years ago and I still use it today. It's very eye catching because it looks like real leather (due to the color). I gifted the Eve bag to a friend and she was very happy with it. I bought their medium tote bag in green and it was so gorgeous but I had to give it away to a young niece because like you I prefer the wider straps. I hope you get to enjoy your very pretty bags for a looong time like mine. Let's support quality Filipino products like Eve and Adam! - Megsky
