This IS a plastic bag

Remember the madness over the Anya Hindmarch four years ago?

Well, I didn't go insane with that one. I have just as nice (maybe even nicer) canvas bags that cost much less. I have a stylish bayong, too. When I was a little girl, I used to carry my Lola Auring's bayong whenever we went to the palengke. So when I saw a cool black and white bayong a few years ago, I snapped it up and use it when I run to the supermarket.

Then today, I saw this:

It's the Jill Sander Market Acetate Bag. It's orange. It's reusable. It's waterproof. It's easy to clean. And it's so Pinoy! It looks like our sando bags! I want!!!

  2. The annoying thing about the Anya Hindmarch bags was that people used them as actual handbags, and still used plastic bags for their groceries. THAT really pissed me off.

The Jill Sander bag is adorable. But I won't pay almost 100 GBP for it. I'm happy with my eco bags, thank you very much.

  9. I like it! Orange is one of my favorite colors. I hope you push through with your plan to produce this in different colors at a more affordable price. I'll be the first one to buy. P500 pwede? Haha. But it's really cute.

  12. Apples&Dumplings and Lynn, joke lang yun but hmm, what if, no??? I have to think of a way to make the design different para di naman gaya-gaya masyado. But that's the beauty of that bag up there--it's so simple, it's perfect. To meddle with the design just adds clutter. Hmmm...
